For artists

Exhibition space available:

Artists and artist groups can apply for 3-week exhibition periods in the Yard Studio (60 sq.m., 2nd floor). The application period for 2010 ends at the end of May 2009, for 2011 at the end of May 2010, and so on. Include in your application your CV, photos of your former work, preferred exhibition period and an exhibition plan.

Mail your application to Lönnström Art Museum, Valtakatu 7, 26100 RAUMA. Mark the envelope "Exhibition application".

The rent for the Yard Studio is €100. The cost and organisation of transportation, insurance, hanging and opening ceremonies are all the artist's responsibility. The exhibition will be publicised at the museum's website, and the museum will also keep the local press informed about the show.

Exhibition spaces in the main building (550 sq.m.) are also available on application to artist groups.


Residence programme:

Raumars is an international artist-in-residence programme with an emphasis on community art. Applications for residency must be sent in by the end of April. For more information, visit the Raumars website at www.raumars.org
