Concerts
The Teresia Gallery on the third floor in the museum main building is an intimate space with seating for 60 people. It is ideal for chamber music recitals and has a Kawai GS-70 semi concert grand piano. The acoustics of the gallery are particularly suited for music by small ensembles. In addition to concerts, the gallery can also be used for workshops, exhibitions and meetings.
The Teresia Gallery hosts concerts by students and teachers of the music institute in Rauma, concerts of the Rauma Music Festival ( www.raumanfestivo.fi ) as well as concerts by other organisers. For enquiries, call us, tel. +358 2 8387 4700, or send us e-mail.

Museum education
In search of ideas and insights
Art and museum education occupy a central position in our museums. The purpose of our education activities is to acquaint the public with the arts to learn, discover and understand both themselves and the world – not to mention arts themselves. Art education centres on practical activities, teaching manual skills and promoting creativity, and also finding information by visual means.
Art education is under constant development. The Lönnström Art Museum has conducted all kinds of projects, including artist-run workshops for children and adults, guided and thematic tours, lectures and drama workshops. In addition to organising workshops and thematic tours, we also publish booklets with assignments for children and other education material. Projects have been planned and conducted together with comprehensive schools and the art school in Rauma, with the Taikalamppu – Aladdin's Lamp network, the University of Turku Department of Teacher Education in Rauma, the University of Turku, and with artists. We are happy to receive any suggestions you might have!
